Food Distribution Program
Funded by United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), the Red Lake Food Distribution Program is instrumental in providing food to the residents of the reservation.
The program was founded several years ago, and each year distributes thousands of food items to qualified individuals.
The program has two food programs: Food Distribution Program on Indian Reservations (FDPIR) and Commodity Supplemental Food Program (CSFP).
FDPIR assists households with food support on a monthly basis to those that qualify by income and residence.
CSFP is the supplemental food program that assists elders (60 and over) with food support on a monthly basis.
We recently moved to our new location at the former Red Lake Doors in Redby! This new location offers the ability to expand our program as we continue to have a positive impact to our clientele!
